Over the years, the PEARLS Foundation has been involved in many social justice and human rights issues. That work includes assisting in eradicating poverty, promoting mental health awareness, supporting domestic violence shelters and homes for foster teens, supporting reentry programs for women and providing loans to further the economic development for women living in impoverished countries. The PEARLS Foundation has supported the National Association of Mental Health; the Arkansas Food Bank; the American Heart Association, Alzheimer's Arkansas, Central Arkansas Library System Foundation, local schools with our high school mentoring program, the Kidney Foundation, The Dream Center, Our House, the Derek Lewis Foundation, Women in Transition, Simone’s House, Kiva, and the with service and monetary donations. The Pearls Foundation supports the programming of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., Chi Eta Omega Chapter
